Where are you located?

We are based in Shackleford, Surrey. Our studio is near Guildford/Godalming. We are considered, by many, the best for remote Mixing and Mastering in Surrey.

Do you do any genres?

Yes we do. We have worked across most popular (and unpopular) genres. We have a soft spot for alternative music, but all genres are welcome. We can get the most out of any song.

How long does a song take to master?

We can usually deliver a finished Mastered song within 24hrs. Sometimes during busy periods it will take 48hrs. You don’t have to spend extra to get it back in this time. Mixing can often be delivered back in three days.

What is the difference between mixing and stem mastering?

Mixing involves taking a full multi-track song and making all the elements work together well. Stem Mastering is similar but it involves less parts. Up to 8 stereo stems can be sent. It’s a great option if you are 80% happy with your mix but still need someone to improve it. Consider it a Mix Lite, or Diet Mix (followed by Mastering).

Who is the main engineer?

Lawrence Biancardi currently runs the studio and is the main engineer for Alt Mastering.
